Introducing the inaugural Fairbanks Spring Duathlon! This event is hosted by Nanook recreation and sponsored by Goldstream Sports.
Ever wanted to Fat Bike on the ski trails round UAF? This is your ONE CHANCE to do that! Plus we’re raising money for a great cause.
The duathlon takes place on Wednesday March 4, 2020 with a start time of 6:00 p.m. Divisions include:
Individual male
Individual female
Relay Male
Relay Female
Relay Co-Ed
Prizes will be awarded to top finishers in all divisions!

There will be an awards ceremony with refreshments at 8:00 p.m. in the IARC Building neat the UAF Ski Hut. This race will start and finish, with transition set up, in the stadium area by the ski hut.
Proceeds from the event go to Beacon of Light! This is a team participating in the Boston Marathon. They will then particpate in the Out of Darkness Walk in Fairbanks and all dollars raised will go to the local chapter for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
