How exciting is this weather? With 15 hours of sunshine, the energy level around Fairbanks has doubled. The runners are out, and even m ore exciting - the summer cyclists are starting to creep out of the woodwork. Now is a great time to bring your bike in for a pre-season tune-up. From now until Sunday, come into Goldstream Stream Sports and get great discounts on bikes, components and accessories. For those of you wanting to get into road riding or mountain biking, now is the time to start. Come and check out our older model bikes that are on sale, like the Pilot 1.2. This is a great entry level bike. The bike is an aluminum frame with a carbon fork. Good components and a nice light frame will make this bike really fun to ride around Fairbanks, and if you want to join in the organised rides, or maybe some of the races, this bike would be great!

The Lemond Versailles is a super step-up bike. This is an excellent bike for the Fairbanks roads, and a perfect bike for the beginner to the expert. With a cabon and chro-moly frame, the Versailles very comfortable, light and has excellent components. With Ultegra and Shimano 105 components, this is a great excercise or race bike.

The Madone 5.1 is a full carbon frame bike and very comfortable on the Fairbanks chip-sealed roads. Not sold on carbon? Take one of the beauties for a ride and see the difference. Great components and a super stiff frame, all your energy goes straight ito the cranks making your rider faster and more efficient.

Want a good solid bike for on and off-road? Try the trek 4300. It is a great entry level mountain biked. If you want super smooth off-road riding and the stopping power of hydraulic disc brakes, check out the Gary Fisher Paragon and SuperCaliber. Both of these bikes have top components, super light-weight frames, and are the most comfortable rides if you are on the road, easy trails, or if you are bombing down Ester Dome. With the 29 inch wheels, the bike rolls over obstacles really smoothly and easily. Not convinced about 29ers? Come on out and try one out, I bet you will be sold. There are plenty of 19 inch frames, so if you are 5"
